Plugin Suggestion – Buddyress Antispam

    Hello Brajesh,

    One of the pending issues with buddypress has been around spam registrations I was wondering if you can create a premium plugin to tackle this problem something like this https://wbcomdesigns.com/downloads/buddypress-recaptcha/ Yours would be better by providing more integration options like

    reCaptcha Services

    1. Default Math reCaptcha
    2. https://www.geetest.com/ (HOT – Airbnb & Binance makes use of this)
    3. Google v2 and v3 reCaptcha
    4. https://www.hcaptcha.com/

    For enhanced usability
    1. Shortcode support would be needed, For example inserting [bp-recaptcha] into the branded login plugin would be helpful
    2. reCaptcha should display in a popup upon clicking register or login button

    Hi Tosin,
    Thank you.

    At the moment, we have no interest in the security solution anytime soon(It is on the cards in future).

    The captchas are mostly inefficient at blocking spam unless combined with other validation methods such as mobile verification etc.

    We did create a reCaptcha implementation years ago, did not release it to the public as we did not see any good improvement in stopping spam with it.
