posts inside private groups

    i’m looking for a way to let users create posts
    (like buddypress member blog)
    but the thing is – those post are private – means shold be posted in a private bp group under tab “tutorials” – with your plugin group tab creator. (lets say with a shortcode of a specific posts’ category).
    but those posts should not be visible oustide the private group.
    can i achive this with one of your plugins?
    i am using buddyboss
    those post should not be displayed in the member profile to anyone. only can be seen for the members of a specifc private group

    Hi,
    You should try BuddyBlog Group plugin(an addon of BuddyBlog Pro).
    It should allow you to achieve it.

    i dont see any plugin named buddyblog group, can i get a link pls?

    It is available as an addon of this plugin.

    If you have access to it, you will see the current RC under your account’s download page.

    ok but it doesnt mentioned even in the documentation, any explanation of how to do so? you dont have any written tutorial / video for this feature please?

    Hi,
    It is not a publicly released plugin. Has limited availability to people who have access to BuddyBlog pro.

    You can find more details about it if you search of “Buddyblog Group” on the forum. We hope to announce it publicly sometimes soon.

    The working is exactly same as BuddyBlog Pro for user.

    just to be sure
    if user post in a private group, only those private groups members can see it?

    in both cases:
    1. when viewing the author’s profile >> posts
    2. if non group members get a direct link to the post

    it will not be displayed for non group members?

    Hi,
    Yes, the answer to both is yes.

    Please make sure to use a private post type to even have better control. Using the ‘post’ post type will work fine too.

    tnx i have purchased it! just for you to know – i buy all buddypress plugin here and not on competitors because of your great and fast support! i know that u will be thereif needed 🙂
