Problem with Plugin BP Non Editable Profile Fields

    Hi,
    i have a custom field which is shown in the profil tab.
    The User have to fill it through the registration.
    The User should not be able to edit this field after reg.
    So i want to use BP Non Editable Profile Fields… But this Plugin seems not to work correctly, or i´m to stupid 🙁
    I´ve tried it in a fresh wp+bbpress+buddypress installation. But idk what is wrong.
    I also have set this field to “Do not allow a user to change this field” but the user have still edit rights.
    I´m using this Versions:

    Wordpres: 4.9.4
    BuddyPress: 2.9.3
    BBPress: 2.5.14

    Hi Stefan,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    Before I assist you further, Can you please check this one more time.

    1. Do you have the default WordPress theme active?
    2. Are you checking the edit profile page from http://yoursitename.com/members_page_slug/username/profile/edit.

    There are some themes which hack around the editing experience and we do have conflict with them.

    3. You are not logged in as site admin.

    The plugin does not restrict site admins from editing the profile field. Also, It only restricts on profile/edit page the dashboard edit profile page.

    yep it´s the theme that couse this issue. Can u maybe help me to get rid of this?

    Have checked it. The theme does not uses normal BuddyPress Profile Edit form(On the settings page it is custom fields).
    I am going to look a bit more and then will reply back.
