now you sign this topic “Resolved” because I understand and resolved the problem.
This result happens when the “Name” field on “Profile details” is deleted. Apparently Buddypress, by default, does not start the email or warns you of the registration if you do not fill out this field first. I had taken it away so it showed no error.
Now we have learned another possible cause for the incorrect functioning of the recording in Buddypress.

I am glad you resolved it.
I was stumped and was wondering about the reason. Yes, I too have learned the new reason for mail not being sent by BuddyPress 🙂
