The option background to change profile background has vanished from my site. The plugin is installed and active but the option is no longer visible. This happened prior to updating WP to 4.7.4. Any ideas or known conflicts that could cause this? Thanks in advance!jb

Hi Jason,
I tried the plugin with WordPress 4.7.4, BuddyPress 2.8.2 and the West Theme 1.11 and I don’t see any issue.It is most probably caused by some other code or css. If you can provide me temporary guest access to your site, I should be able to isolate it and help you.

That’s the problem. Those options existed previously and now they are gone.

Ok,
I checked and I see the problem.
You have almost all the BuddyPress component disabled. That’s why none of the plugins are working properly.Please visit Settings->BuddyPress and enable the Profile component.
That will make profile edit/change background etc working.

That was it! I didn’t have Extended Profiles selected! Everything is back to the way it should be! Thanks so much for assisting me with this in such a timely manner! I’m scheduled to present this demo site to the client in 5hrs and you just saved my life!!!
