Profile Visibility Hides Friends from Friends

    Is there a way to let Friends see their Friends even with “List in members directory?” is set to “No”? In other words, Friends can not see their Friends when their Friends have “List in members directory?” set to “No”.

    I’m using Buddboss platform/theme.

    Hi RES,
    This is the default behaviour with BuddyPress. The users are not hidden in the friends list.

    Our team will test with BuddyBoss platform and report here.

    Hello –

    It is working for the users’ own connections tab now but what about groups and messaging? A user cannot see their friends in the group member list or in messaging, they are still hidden.

    I’m using Buddboss platform/theme and PMPro.

    Hi RES,
    Thank you for confirming the fix.

    The visibility in the groups members listing is same as that of members directory and both hide friends when their visibility is set to hidden from listing.

    We do not see a simple way to change it currently.
