Programmatically hide BuddyBoss “Network Search” feature from Logged-Out Users

    BuddyBoss has a great “Network Search” feature, but it is a huge security risk because it can’t be easily hidden from logged-out users. I have hidden it with CSS but to me that’s still a huge security risk.

    The BuddyBoss support site showed a possible fix, but it is way out of date and didn’t seem to work for their “Network Search” feature when I tried it:

    Has BuddyDev already fixed this issue in a plugin, or can you provide a solution as a snippet or feature of a plugin?

    Hi Mark,
    I am sorry, we don’t have any plugin or solution for it.

    Since this relates to BuddyBoss core, I will suggest asking BuddyBoss’s support for assistance.

    I have discussed this with them. They are not willing to update their posted code snippet solution. They asked me to post fixing this security breach as a feature request. Could I hire your firm to solve?
