What does this (?ver=1662876162) mean and how can I remove it from my site.

OH This problem was caused by this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/prevent-browser-caching/

I am glad you found it.If you ever find anything like this again, the cause is always some caching or cache busting plugin.
