Hi there, I’m using Version 1.6.4 of Recent Profile Visitors, and havn’t updated to 1.6.9 yet, as I’m having an issue with the total number of visits count which dosen’t match.

As you can see in the screen shots are there no coherence between the visitors show in member header, and in the visitors shown in profile tab.

My apologies if the issue is already fixed in the update.

Are there any plans on a bigger update of the plugin?

Especially I’m looking for an option where users can delete their old profile visits and a tab where only new and “unopened” listed profiles are displayed.

    Regards
    Carsten

Hi there, I might have located the issue.

I’m using this code snippet to exclude logged and admin users from BuddyPress users list.

Could it be, that this code does not work with the Recent Visitors in member header?

The same with the Who’s Online widget, which also display admin users despite the code.

    Regards
    Carsten

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for posting.

I had a look and I am unable to find a reason.

    1. The user list in header only shows limited number of entries(5 by default). You can control that from the plugin settings. can you please check if it is set to 3?

    2. The members loop(directory/profile loop) gets affected by other code or plugins hiding users as they are standard BuddyPress.

Please test the plugin on a default installation with any BuddyPress template pack and default WordPress theme without other codes/plugins.

After that, you can try adding the plugins/code and if you are able to find the conflict, Please let me know.

    Regards
    Brajesh

Hi Brajesh, thanks for looking into this, I appreciate it as it is a big problem.

    1. Here are my settings:
How many visitors to display in header? 6
How many visitors to display in profile tab? 20

    2. I will do the test you described, as you might remember I have an issue with the general
members count, maybe the problem with non matching member counts are related.

    Regards
    Carsten
