Recent Visitors For BuddyPress Profile -> latest version destroys profile counts

    Hi,

    before upgrade to latest version we imported profile visit counts to “profile_visits_count” in wp_usermeta.

    This worked and new visits where added.

    With your latest version this value is set to a very low number.

    Even when we change the value in the database your plugin resets this.

    What can we change in source code to get it to old version???

    This is an urgent request as this causes high support efforts on our end.

    Hi ,
    I am sorry for the inconvenience

    we no longer consider profile meta as authoritative value.

    With the new update, The actual value is calculated from visitors table and cached in the meta.

    Is there any chance you manually changed the counts in meta earlier? Otherwise, this change will have no effect.

    Also, if you need to revert, Please scroll to the bottom of the plugin page and download older version.
