[Resolved] RSS button on activity page

    Hi there, I wonder what the RSS button under the what’s New form is for?. If i press the button I see an XML file with activity code.

    Why is it positioned on the activity page, and how do I get rid of it?

    Found the right selector to hide it

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for the question.

    I am glad you are able to hide it.

    The reason for its existence is to provide a feed of activities. It is from the beginning days of BuddyPress when news feed reader was still popular. It provided a way for people to subscribe to the feed(new activities).

    I believe it has lost its purpose now.
