Is it possible to set the default the search results to “Alphabetical” instead of “Last Active”? Or is there shortcode by a search term and sort it alphabetically?

    I’ve tried: [bpmtp-members-list search_terms=US+-+California type=alphabetical]

    Hi Kristin,
The above shortcode should work fine. Are you facing any issue? It should sort the list alphabetically.

Please let me know what issue you are facing?

    Thank you

It is not finding the members that have that search term. It says “Sorry, no members were found.” but when I do the sear like this: URL/membership/?members_search=US+-+California then it does find results.

I ended up following these directions: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/make-members-list-default-to-alphabetical/

Everything is alphabetical, but… it is better than the “Last active” view. But if you figure out the Shortcode issue, please let me know.

    Hi Kristin,
    Thank you for the reply.

That was exactly what the shortcode does. We will be exploring for the reason and updating you by Tuesday.

    Regards
    Brajesh
