    Hi,

I have updated to BuddyPress 8.0 today and the Profile fields that I usually use for registering have been vanished away since the update. I also saw that there is a new tab showing in WP Dashboard under User/Profile Tabs –> as SIGN UP which is confusing.

Could you please help me how to show the old registering page of Buddypress or please could you please help me getting the old version of BuddyPress back until this error is resolved because the registering page looks very weird right now.

    Thanks for your update.

    Regards
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
It seems a css issue with the theme. Please contact the theme author. They should be able to provide a quick soluytion.

If I could see the old registration page, I can help with the css too.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Brajesh,

    Thanks for the great clarification.

I decided to keep the BP V8 version because it will not make any sense to downgrade and take advantage of all the BP plugins upgrades in the future.

Is there a way that I could link the Register button under the member’s coverphoto to the Ajax registration form? If yes, then I can use Ajax Registration everywhere.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Regards
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
Can you please provide me a guest account to check that button? You can add the selector to ajax registration plugin via its settings page to make any link/element trigger the popup. I need to check the button and its selector to assist you.

    Regards
    Brajesh
