    I think any social media website needs at least some sort of randomness to the feed like all of the popular ones today. Tiktok and Instagram show you something new that you would be interested in on every refresh. There must be some way to make it like when you refresh it shows you a [random] post from a group you are apart of rather than the most recent post from the whole website. This would be beneficial to many people and the BuddyDev team as they could market it as a starting social media feed. Main idea is to create a plugin that maybe adds a simple algorithm to the BuddyPress activity feed that would be customized according to what groups you are apart of. Please let me know of your thoughts and if this would even be a realistic idea

    Hi Avi,
    What you are looking at facebook and others is their recommendation algorithm. That won’t be feasible with BuddyPress. It needs specific things(and most of the time ML driven recommendation).

    The simplified feature(My group, my friends combined) is provided by one of our plugins(Facebook like activity stream) for BuddyPress.
