Status update doesn’t appear in sitewide activity

    A member recently posted a status update. The update is visible in the user’s profile activity, but not in the sitewide activity nor in the Facebook-like general tab.

    Furthermore, the profile stream tab is only visible in my own profile, not in other members’ profile, where I can only see the personal feed.

    How can this be fixed?

    Any chance you are using some plugin or code to exclude the activity types from sitewide stream?

    Hi Brajesh,

    Not that I am aware of.
    Anyway, the problem disappeared after disabling the Facebook like activity stream plugin. There must be some conflict between the two on my site.

    Thank you for posting.

    The Facebook Like Activity does not remove any activity type. It simply merges the streams at one place.

    I am unable to guess any reason for it.

    Also, by status update, you mean you are using some specific plugin for that?
