[Resolved] Suggestion for Mediapress: Ability to add cover image to video and audio gallery

    Hello BuddyDev,

    This is a suggestion for the “MediaPress Set Media as Gallery Cover” plugin.

    Currently we can only set a cover for a photo gallery with a photo we uploaded. It would be great if we can have the following options:
    1. Set an image from a link as the gallery cover for a photo gallery
    2. Use a photo (either uploaded or a link) as the gallery cover of a video and audio gallery.
    3. Let the video itself from a O-embed link eg youtube, be the gallery cover.

    Thank you for the suggestion.

    The video/audio galleries support cover but via a different method. You need to upload it from Edit Gallery page.

    Thank you for the suggestions, I am unable to think of a ui where we can use images form another gallery as cover. O-embed cover is certainly on the cards.

    Thank you for your help on a weekend.

    I did notice that feature previously but maybe I did it wrong and did not work the first time. I tried it again and it worked.
