[Resolved] TTFB increased by Live Notification

    Hi there, I’m fine tuning by site, to gain more speed, and the amount of plugins are crucial in that aspect. So i’m looking at which plugins are nice or need to have.

    BuddyPress Live Notification really adds value to a BP site, but I can measure that the server response times (TTFB), is increased by this plugin. There are no settings for this plugin, but is there any way to change the frequency of calls looking for new notifications, I guess this is what is slowing the load time down?

    I really would hate not being able to use this plugin, but speed is king.

    NB! I know these results can vary, and influenced by a number of factors, and, as said, the number of plugins are also a crucial factor, so I will not claim, that Live Notification is causing this alone.

    Hi there, I have done some tests, and I’m not sure that Live Notification is causing increased TTFB so I am closing this topic.
