[Resolved] Unable to create Project inside a Group

    Hi Brajesh,

    Many thanks for your reply.

    Basically what is happening is that the group admin can create a new Project, but when the group admin wants to add a task to the project, then it comes to this error message:

    “There was an error trying to add this task. Title and Description fields are required or there was an unexpected error.”

    In order to make the Project function work inside the BP group, it needs to be possible to create tasks inside the project, otherwise the plugin is useless right?

    Do you think it will be possible to resolve this bug by modifying the code?

    Hi Brajesh,

    Do you have time at any chance to have a look into this in order that the Task feature works as it should inside the Project of a Group?

    We would like to work on a project and apply tasks to the members and we cannot work on the project until the Task feature is enabled.

    Hi Daniel,
    I haven’t been able to look into it any further. Will do on 2nd/3rd and post back by 3rd latest.

    For future to avoid this we are opening our custom service options in January. That will help us deliver faster for any non BuddyDev related customizations.

    HI Daniel,
    Hope you are doing well.
    I finally spent sometime with the plugin.

    I am not sure why you are having issue as the plugin allows group admin/moderators to add/delete/update project and tasks corerctly from the group screen. I tested with a user role=subscriber and made him group admin to test.

    Then I looked at the code and I see that all the permissions are allowed for group admin/moderator.

    Can you please re try it? Also, is there anything special about your groups(private, hidden etc )?
