[Resolved] Unable to upload Cover Pic

    Hi,

    Currently, when I want to upload a Coverphoto and I select it, then it doesn’t show it. But when I upload the profile pic, then it works well.

    There might be some conflict. Might you know what it could be?

    Hi Daniel,
    You are using Thrive’s theme. It is a theme related issue and I will suggest contacting their support for the same.

    But why I can change the Cover Photo when creating a BP Group but I cannot change the Coverphoto for the user?

    Are you sure it is a theme problem? The problem is that I receive no support from the Theme.

    If you have any suggestion, then I will be very happy 🙂

    Hi Daniel,

    Since your cover upload works and profile works upload for groups, there are only 2 possible reasosn for the issue

    1. You don’t have the profile upload for user enabled in BuddyPress settings
    2. or your theme has some bug preventing you from upload.

    If you can confirm that first is not the issue then it has higher probability of being a theme related issue.

    Hi Brajesh,

    I have checked and for my theme, the 1. needs to be deactivated in BP Settings because otherwise the user will have two cover photos. It seems that it’s a bug with the new theme version.

    I will need to see how I can fix that. Do you offer some technical support because my theme company does not answer any tickets anymore since more than a year.

    Could I hire you for finding the bug and helping to get the issue fixed?
