Upload directory is unwritable

    Hi All:
    Non-admin users have been unable to upload images when posting comments. The error reads “Server error. Upload directory is unwritable” but I checked and double-checked the permission to the upload directory on the server and they check out.
    Admins in the backend can user the media upload in the backend (ie. create new Pages) but when admins try to post a comment with an image… the error persists.

    Please help.

    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    I am sorry, the above error is not from MediaPress.

    Are you using any plugin to add the media uploads in the comment?

    We’re using Activity Plus Reloaded for uploading media in BP comments

    Hi,
    Thank you for sharing the details.

    Please try creating following two directories inside the wp-content/uploads directory

    
/bpfb
/bpfb/tmp/

    and make these two writable. Then try uploading and let me know if it works or not?
