[Resolved] User Role Error Posting Images

    Can only upload images using Mediapress when the user role in WordPress is set as “editor” or “administrator”. When any other role tries to upload – get the error message, “There was a problem processing your comment” and nothing is posted – refreshing the page will then show the post !

    I don’t think user roles matter in Buddypress (except for admin) -but in this case they seem to be having an impact.

    I am using WP 4.3 / Buddypress Version 2.3.2.1 / Theme – Arcade Basic Version: 1.0.6

    Hi JC,
    Welcome to BuddyDev forums.

    That message is not generated by MediaPress. Also, MediaPress does not use any role. It checks for the capability of current users.

    Is there any chance that you are using Zero Spam comment plugin?

    I see this message listed in their faq

    That is exactly what is causing the problem. Deactivating ZeroSpam stops the error. I will explore in that direction. Thank you for your prompt response. Your work is outstanding.
