[Resolved] Who Can See your profile? vs Who Can See your friends?

    Hi. Understand question. Ex: Setting Logged in user. In case active one of bellow setting. not both in same time.

    Option: Who Can See your profile?
    ==> It mean everything is protected (activity, friends, follower….) But each tab count still appear

    Option: Who Can See your friends? (
    ==> All tab still work as normal, but friends tab complete disappear.
    ==> A little confused here. If same as “Who Can See your profile?” friends tabs should still appear, but in protected mood. Isn’t it? OR this is the way you develop?

    Thank you for posting.
    You are right about the confusion.

    The second way is the correct way. Completely removing the tab for non friends and only friends can see the tab.

    The option to protect was an afterthought(We added in a few months ago on on of the requests/discussions) and when protecting all tab, we can’t simply remove them reliably. It will break a user’s profile link.

    So, that was the reason behind it.

    We can make the friends behave as the first case but that will be surprise for our existing customers, that’s why we avoided doing it.
