[Resolved] Xprofile custom field types not available in buddyboss member search

    Hello –

    I am using your Xprofile plugin with my buddyboss environment. Thanks for making it.

    I have added a “custom post type selector” field to a profile.
    I am able to go into a profile and select from a list of entries from the post type and save.

    I cannot add this field to the profile search, however.

    Additionally, I would like this to be a repeating field on the profile set, but that’s the next issue.

    Hi Tony,
    Thank you for using the plugin.

    BuddyBoss includes a copy of BP profile Search plugin. We have limited compatibility with it.

    Currently, we only have search support for the following field types:-

    -birthdate
    -datepicker
    -color
    -email
    -web
    -number_minmax
    -slider
    -decimal_number

    If you want, you may ask BuddyBoss and let me know how do we make a serialized(with numeric values) field searchable for them and I will do.

    No, That is a basic function used for data fetch for individual profile field.
