Xprofile field validation

    Hi
    I am using BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types plugin on the website http://www.execboardinasia.com
    I have added custom fields for user registration like First Name and Last Name.
    These fields are required.
    The validation process display an error if these fields are empty.
    But there is no message if a user type a blank space or blank characters only.
    It could be interested to trim the value before validation.

    Hi Fabrice,
    the is_required check is done by BuddyPress Core. we do not do the check.

    I will suggest to report it on BuddyPress trac.
