Updating BuddyX to version 5.1.5 solved the issue.
I tried to clear cache but no success.
I have tried to uninstall an re-install. Also, the comments are visible on the activity feed, just not in the lightbox.

To clarify, commenting on images in lightbox doesn’t work. You can write the comment and hit send, but then it doesn’t show up, it isn’t there.
This plugin is then checked off as not the cause of issue and I shall contact Youzify, great idea!
