    Well, I see I hadn’t set the correct setting for preview in BB settings, Doh. so it now showing a preview and embedding Youtube. But it still doesn’t embed the Youtube vids as well as Activity Plus—it stretches the videos length and looks ugly.

    I’d still be interested to know if it’s really a bad idea to use the two together?

    Hi,

    Just to clarify, I’m not using the BuddyBoss Theme.

    The Activity component of BuddyBoss has no preview when adding a link and does not embed Youtube videos, it just post the url.

    I much prefer Activity Plus.

    Are there any incompatiblity issues?

    Hello,

    This is not a response or question but related to a statement in one of the comments above.

    I’m just about to install Activity Plus Reloaded with a fresh install of BuddyBoss on WP 5.6.1 but see APR is only compatible up to WP 5.4.0.

    You say above “Activity pro is rescheduled and will be only available with our upcoming theme.” Is this the Activity Plus Reloaded plugin? And do you mean there will be no further develpments on the stand-alone Activity Plus Reloaded plugin? Ie we would need to be using your theme for it to work?

    I’m wondering on the wiseness of installing if it’s no longer being udpated.
