    I’ve just tested the full registration flow for both parent and youth accounts, and everything works perfectly now.

    Hi Brajesh,
    Thank you for offering Member Types Pro — that’s very kind.
    Before I switch, I want to make sure it will work well in my current setup.
    I previously used Member Types Pro, but at that time I also needed Profile Visibility Manager for privacy rules. Using both paid plugins together was too expensive for me as a private individual, so I switched to Profile Visibility Manager + Conditional Fields.
    If Member Types Pro works well together with Profile Visibility Manager, then I would be very happy to use it — that would allow me to continue building my platform.
    To help you check compatibility, here are the plugins that are relevant for registration, member types, conditional fields and visibility in my setup:

    – BuddyPress
    – BuddyPress Profile Visibility Manager
    – Conditional Profile Fields for BuddyPress
    – BuddyPress Xprofile Member Type Field
    – BuddyPress Member Type Generator
    – BP Profile Search
    – BP xProfile Location

    If Member Types Pro can replace the member type field and the conditional fields plugin in this setup, and still work alongside Profile Visibility Manager, then I would love to use it.

    Great to hear that the test was helpful.
    If it’s possible to add support for the Member Type field in conditional logic, that would be amazing — it would solve the whole issue.

    Thanks for your update, no worries — I understand.

    Just to share something I tested in the meantime:
    I created a simple test setup with a radio‑button field and another field that should appear based on one of the radio choices. In that case, the conditional logic works perfectly.

    However, when I try the same logic using the Single Member Type field as the trigger, the conditional fields does not appear anymore.
    So it seems the issue might be related specifically to the Member Type field not being detected anymore as a normal form field.

    I hope this helps with your investigation.

    My current profile field setup:
    – All fields are in the same profile field group.
    – Display Name (core field)
    – Location (location field, required, visible for all member types)
    – Are you a parent or a young person? This is a Single Member Type field, Required, Options: Parent / Young person / User without member type. This field is supposed to control which additional fields appear.

    For each member type, I created separate fields.
    These fields:
    -are not required
    – are assigned to the correct member type (and also to “user without member type”)
    – are dropdowns or multi‑line text fields

    Each field has a condition:
    – Show this field if “Are you a parent or a young person?” = Parent
    or
    Show this field if “Are you a parent or a young person?” = Young person

    This used to work correctly.

    The problem is that the Single Member Type field does not trigger any conditional behavior anymore.
    When I change the value of “Are you a parent or a young person?”, nothing happens:
    – no fields appear or disappear
    – the conditional logic does not fire
    – the form does not react
    – and xpfields in the console is empty.

    So the conditions exist in the admin, but they are not being applied on the frontend.

    Does the Conditional Profile Fields plugin still support live conditional logic based on a Single Member Type field?
    Or should I replace this field with a normal select field to make the conditions work again?

    I’m not using any plugin that changes the signup markup. I’m only using BuddyPress Nouveau with the Kadence theme.

    I don’t use BP Member Types Pro anymore, I changed it to BP Profile Visibility Manager and Conditional Fields for Buddypress. This works better for my setup.
    But now Conditional Fields doesn’t work anymore.
