Hi there
We’re using User Profile Tabs Creator Pro
We are having the same issue as this poster: https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/user-profile-tabs-creator-pro-and-removing-admin-menu-items/
where we see any Edited Labels appear at the top left of the Admin Bar. It seems the BuddyDev reply example with screenshots does not show the part of the Admin bar where the issue exists. You CAN see the issue in the video on this page: https://buddydev.com/docs/buddypress-user-profile-tabs-creator-pro/modifying-label-repositioning-existing-profile-tab/
In the video in the top left of the Admin Bar you see the words New Tab showing a New Tab that had previoulsy been created. After they edit the Profile tab to be renamed Edit Profile and save, at 1:07 in the video we now see the top left Admin Bar now also shows the newest tab created, Edit Profile.
Thanks-
JesicaHi Jesica,
Thank you for the topic. The problem in the video/topic is related to admin bar configuration.
You need to make sure to provide the admin bar id as shown here
https://imgur.com/6weayLXfor the modifying item to make it work. we will update/add another video to show it.
Please give it a try.
PS:- The video creator did not consider updating the admin bar id and that’s why it is not reflecting. I will ask them to update the video next week.

BrajeshHi there-
So for the tab that is renaming the default Profile Tab, we have:
NEW PROFILE TAB:
My Profile: slug = profile so that it renames the Profile Link My Profile.
TAB SETTINGS:
Is enabled
Modifying Predefined Tab
Update Label
Adminbar Item ID – trying nav-account-xprofileWhen I inspect the page, I see

<div class=”ab-item ab-empty-item”>My Profile
So was trying nav-account-xprofile in the Adminbar Item ID field but we still see the words My Profile in the top left admin bar.
Thanks!
I think this has been taken care of from this ticket:
https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/user-profile-tabs-replace-edit-profile-with-a-new-custom-my-profile-screen>> the issue was the admin bar id was incorrect. It should have been “my-account-xprofile” instead of “nav-account-xprofile”
Thanks so much-
Hi Jesica,
Thank you for the update.I am glad that it is resolved.

Brajesh
