    Meant to say:

    Server Error. Upload directory isn’t writable.
    Please assist!!

    Hello Mike,

    Please create a separate topic for different issue. For the problem it seems your uploads directory is not writable. You can give a shot to the following plugin for checking the status.

    If it is not writeable, Please contact your Server Provider for assisting you on this.

    Any update to this plugin? Its not working for my website. All I want is for regular users to be able to upload to one shared gallery and for the images they upload to also show up in their profile.

    Hi applejackpony2,
    Thank you for the question.

    The global shared gallery is aimed at having multiple contributors. it does not show the media on user’s profile as we are only able to show gallery as the top level currently(In MediaPress). We are working on a future version of MediaPress where Media can be uploaded without worrying about gallery and with that feature, the media will be visible on uploaders profile.
