Anonymous isn’t Anonymous

    We have the plugin for anonymous posting in the forums (we’re using buddyboss platform.) Unfortunately, it seems that when posting anonymously the user’s identity is still visible in the activity feed while showing anon on the actual post.

    We are also concerned that the email alerts that went out to thousands may also be showing their identity. This isn’t good.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I am sorry for the issue.

    As far as I am aware, the anonymous activity plugin does not support BuddyBoss forum component. Are you using the custom code to enable forum support for anonymous activity?

    Which version of the anonymous activity plugin are you using? Please share the details and we will assist you further.
