Buddyblog error

    I created a custom post type called “Diary” and set it as post format for Buddyblog.
    But when creating a post with Buddyblog I get logged out and redirected to the homepage.

    What might be wrong here? How can I fix it?

    Hi Hugo,
    I am sorry for the trouble.

    Please visit Dashboard->settings->BuddyBlog and make sure that a post type is selected and some taxonomy is selected.

    Please save and it will go away.

    I created a custom taxonomy called “Diary Tags” and selected it to use with my “Diary” CPT. I still can’t create a new post.
    The link “Create new post ” (https://mydomain/nl/leden/fapadmin/buddyblog/edit/- ” just redirects me to my homepage.

    Hi Hugo,
    Are you using any plugin or something else to redirect/restrict access? I don’t see any reason for it(unless you restricted it in BuddyBlog settings).

    Please look for the option

    “Which capability is required for pusblishing?”

    What is the value set there?
