[Resolved] Conditional BuddyPress Registration fields enabled but not available

    Hi there, for some reason Conditional BuddyPress Registration fields based on BuddyPress Member Types are not available for the profile fields. Option has been enabled here.

    Dashboard->Member Types->Misc settings and enable conditional registration page

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for the question.

    It works by taking the field availability form member type.

    When you create or edit a Profile field in BuddyPress, You can assign it to some of the members types(In case you want to make it available on registration, please allow without member types option too).

    Once you select that, when a user registers/edits their profile, the fields will be based on selected member type by them.

    Hi Brajesh, the problem is that this option for choosing member types for the field, is not displayed anymore, as described in the documentation. It used to work, but now there are no such option.

    Hi Carsten,
    That means you don’t have any member type registered currently.

    The member type settings is offered by BuddyPress. Please do check if you have some member type registered.

    Hi Carsten,
    You have already selected the field for all member types in the right side box. Please check your screenshot again.

    Hi Brajesh, yes that is correct, but my point is that these choices are not offered or displayed on top of the profile fields, like on the video grab:

    It will only show if you scoped it to a few of the ember types.
