Gallery Description – when does the user see this?

    I’ve started using Mediapress on a live site.

    I wanted to add in the description some image posting guidelines in a gallery that I have set up in a group.

    But what I notice is that viewing the gallery does not cause the gallery description to show for users.

    Is that right? Is the description purely visible when editing the gallery?

    Hi George,
    In our last updates to have a cleaner gallery, It was my idea to remove gallery description there.

    It can be simple shown anyhwre using

    
<?php mpp_gallery_description();?>

    Please point me by a screenshot where you will like it and I will post the code that you can put in bp-custom.php or functions.php to enable this.

    PS: Please do not copy and modify MediaPress templates yet, We will be making some more changes tonight( It is related to item meta actions ).

    If you copy the templates, everything will work but the newer features won’t be available.

    It can be now enabled/disabled from admin settings.
