I need FB like wall activity plugin for Buddypress site. Please help.

    Hi Brajesh.
    How are you?
    Am building a Buddypress site.
    But am having issues.
    I want a common activity wall, like FB has.
    But am unable to get a plugin for that.
    Can you please guide me what to do?

    We have a plugin for this

    It can create the facebook like activity stream(based on friends/groups etc).

    Let me understand this correctly… to quote… this
    “shows all the activity updates which happen in a user’s network( User’s group, user’s friend) on user’s profile(or sites directory based on your settings) in one place.”

    This one seems to be like Buddy Boss.
    This means that this is for a user’s profile activity stream right?

    It is not like the common wall of Facebook.

    I am looking for a FB common wall activity stream. Is this that?

    My apologies for the delayed reply.

    The BuddyBoss wall allows you to post to other user’s wall. It is more like BuddyPress Activity Wire + Privacy.

    I am not sure if they have added community aggregation in recent versions. You will need to check it with them.

    Our plugin does not allow posting to other user’s wall. It accumulates posts from a user’s network(based on friends, groups) and shows them all at one place.

    If you are looking to allow user to post to other user’s wall, BuddyBoss’s solution may be a good fit.

    No, I am not looking for such types of plugins.

    Am specifically looking for a plugin that can let me set up a wall like FB has – a common wall.

    So far, it seems like such a plugin does not exist.

    You are right about it.

    There does not seem to be a single solution. For us, the lack of support of privacy has been an issue and that’s why we decided to go against doing a wall like plugin. Most of the plugins which provides a sense of activity privacy will not scale in long run.

    I am sorry, but I don’t see any project that might help you.
