[Resolved] Issue with User Badges Plugin

    I’ve installed this plugin but it’s not creating the database table needed so no information is saving. Please advise. Thank you.

    Are you getting any error while activating this plugin? Or are you able to activate the plugin but unable to upload images?

    The plugin activates just fine and we get the settings screen and the badge creation screen. Nothing saves or is created. I’ll send the db error in a private reply.

    That does seem like the table is not created.

    Can you please tell me about your WordPress installation.

    1. Is it standard install or multisite?
    2. Which version of WordPress and php are you using.

    Single Install. Same issue on several different sites on the same server. Most recent version of WP and PHP.

    WP 5.2.2
    PHP 7.2.21

    Thank you for sharing the details. The issue is most probably related to PHP/Mysql version if it is happening on all installs on the same server.

    Please provide the mysql server version too.

    Also, allow us to test it today on a similar configuration of PHP/Mysql and check why the table did not create on activation.

    Here is our server information. I just updated to 7.3.8 for PHP for one of the sites.

    Server version: 5.5.60-MariaDB – MariaDB Server

    Any assistance with this? Is it related to the Maria version?

    Hi Sheffie,
    We tested it on a new digital ocean instance with php 7.3 and latest Maria DB and it worked. I am assuming the issue is our syntax might have problem in your version of Maria DB(we could not test with 5.5.60 as it was not available).

    Can you please deactivate and then activate the plugin and check for database log. The error should give us a better pointer.
