    Hello,

Do you know how I can make the WP Affiliate Page appear within the the BuddyBoss Profile area like the Shop page does rather than just going to the absolute url outside of the Profile area?

    Hi Mikel,
    Welcome to BuddyDev forums.

Do they provide a shortcode for the user dashboard? If yes, you can use BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Pro plugin to achieve the same.

    Hi Mikel,
    For normal shortcodes,simply putting this

    [affiliate_area]

    should make it work.

If it is not working, Can you please contact their support and ask why it will not work out side a page/post loop context.

    I checked their site
    https://docs.affiliatewp.com/article/693-affiliatearea
but could not find any information.

    Regards

    thanks!

i think you originally understood me.

i created the new tab link & it works fine if i add the absolute url https://aether.org/affiliate-area/

the issue is that it does not appear within the profile section like all of the other links do in the profile navigation.

see the links in the bottom left of the browser?

this is what happens when i use the shortcode for affiliate wp.

i’m trying to get it to load into the profile area like you see the view profile section under the profile link rather than linking outside of the profile area in a separate page.

also are you familiar with wc4bp plugin?

i am using that & it does not appear to conflict with anything.

for example, i am using it to create the shop link in the main profile nav.

it allows me to add other pages to the shop nav such as the affiliate area page & it appears within the profile frame.

    https://snipboard.io/FHBDVo.jpg

so this is the right effect, but i don’t want it on the shop nav.

this is how i would like the affiliate area to appear within the profile nav for the affiliate tab i created with your plugin.

i do not want it to be in the shop sub nav.

i am just showing you this as an example.

    Hi Mikel,

That is exactly what Profile tabs pro is supposed to do. Your tabs are configured incorrectly.

Please grant me access to your site admin for 10 minutes and I can create a tab to help you with it.

What you are currently doing is creating an external link, you should not. You need to add a normal tab and use the shortcode.

i am not using https://aether.org/affiliate-area/ as the link, what i am trying to explain to you as that this is the only thing that works so far. the short code for [affiliate_area] for affilate wp does nothing. that is the issue.

do you see the post i just made?

    Hi Mikel,

If the shortcode works with Wc4BP, I do not see any reason for it to not work with Profile tabs pro.

Please provide me temporary details via mail(You already have my email), and I can quickly check the reason. If for some reason it doe snot work(Say it needs page context), I can find a way to solve.

Since the affiliate plugin is a premium plugin, I can not test it on my own. That’s why I requested for the credentials.

    Regards
    Brajesh
