MediaPress MultiUpload then Activity only One Entry

    if i drag and drop 50 images into a mediapress gallery, for example, an activity event is triggered for each image … This then spams the entire ActivityStream.

    Is it possible to create only one activity entry for uploads of several images at the same time.

    That would be very helpful.

    Hi Maurice,
    Thank you for the question.
    There is a setting for this.

    Please visit Dashboard->MediaPress->Settings->BuddyPress and disable creating activity for individual uploads.
    After that, you can publish the bulk media to activity from media manage pages.

    but the result is that no entry is created at all ;(

    goal was that when uploading e.g. 50 images at the same time, only one activity entry is created ….

    maybe this does not work at all ?

    Hi Maurice,
    Once you disable that, if you upload media to gallery, It will notify you of the media not published in activity. You can then publish the media to activity as bulk.

    MediaPress is not aware on its own when a queue for upload has ended, so we have either auto publish for individual emdia or bulk publish where the uploader needs to click a button.

    where will i be notified?

    I have created a gallery and then 20 images as drag & drop uploaded.

    where can I then give the release for the activity ?

    Hi Maurice,
    The current implementation shows you the notice on your Gallery’s manage page(edit gallery where the uploaded media list is shown).
