Mediapress – No upload in activity or gallery

    Hi JC,
    No problem.

    It is strange for me too. Try resetting my accounts password and see if that account allows you to upload from the same system. Just need to find out the reason.

    I am also using Ubunu 14.04 LTS, so I guess environment is not the major issue here.

    PS: We will be adding add from web but in 2nd phase.

    You are right – not the environment – no difference. Changed the PW for your test account – same results…changed admin PW – no difference…Changed user levels (editor – subscriber etc….don’t think that matters in buddypress but…) nothing…Deleted BP-Custom file…Thought my IP address may be an issue…so I deactivated mediapress and activated rtmedia – previews and uploads work fine with rtmedia !

    Stumped.

    If it happened with my test account too, that means something specific to your system.
    It is still very strange.

    Can you please post me two screenshots showing
    1. when the image you select and it is added in the box what happens
    2. when you click post and that activity is posted, is the image shown or still same.

    Hi JC,
    Thank you. I have got the idea what is happening.

    The image is uploading but the response that is coming from server is not properly JSON formatted causing the issue(not being attached to the activity).

    Are you familiar with firebug addon? if yes, I will need one more help from you. Please click on console before uploading image.
    Then select image and you will see a post request. Click on response tab of that request and take a screenshot and post me.
    here is a screenshot to show it.

    That ill give us the complete idea of what is going on.
