Hi I just installed the Moderation tools plugin, and want to use it for various custom post types on my site. I had enquired about these earlier and i can see the post types in settings and have enaled those. (https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/buddypress-moderation-tools-custom-post-types/)
But how do i add the “REPORT” button on those CPT pages / listing pages – is there a shortcode to do that on posts and CPT?
thanks,
VivekHi Vivek,
Please enable the support for your intended post type in the settings. Once you do that a report button will appear at the bottom of your single post type page.
Please check and let me know if it happening or not?
Regards
BrajeshHi Vivek,
Is there any chance that you created that page using visual composer? We are filtering on the_content to add our button. It seems that the visual composer is replacing that. Can you please confirm?
Thank you
BrajeshYes, Brajesh- this page is made using VC.
So now how can i get the Report button back?
thanks, Vivek
Hi Vivek,
Since the default filter is not working with visual composer, we will need to provide you a shortcode for the button. We will release an update on 4th/5th July.Thank you
BrajeshHi Vivek,
Hope you are doing well. Please upgrade to 1.2.3 and you can use the shortcode
[bpmts_report_button] for adding a button.https://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-moderation-tools/
By default, it ads the report button for the current post. You can use the following options to customize it.
label:- Change the button label. Optional. default is ‘Report’.
item_id:- numeric item id. Optional. Default is current post id.
item_type:- registered item type. optional. Default is current post type.
context:- Any meaningful context. Optional. default is current post type.
context_id:- Any id to help make sense of the context. Optional. default is post id.Hope this help.
