My apology for the delayed reply.1. Do you want to change the User’s profile tab from time line? If yes, Please use BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro.

https://i.imgur.com/3wtb0kE.png2. If the group is giving 404, there is a possibility that you have create/edited a group tab and set that as default component but the permissions do not allow accessing the tab. Please visit the Group Tabs in the dashboard and check for the same.

So, I figured out that there are two different plugins – one for group tabs and one for profile tabs. (Not sure how I managed to confuse them. :P)
However, I still can’t get the one for group tabs to work correctly. It works on every tab except the default tab. If I select “Set it as default component?” it breaks groups so that I get 404 pages. Also, adding a number under Position only works if the value is set to number 2 – using any other values for a tab has no effect.
I would like to get a refund please. This just isn’t working, and it’s really hard to get effective support. (No hard feelings – I just need to try something else!) Can you tell me how I can request a refund? Thank you!

We have received your refund request and will process and notify you within 48 hours.yes, the documentation do need update and we are going to review them. The plugins work properly an dare being used by hundreds of the BuddyBoss & BuddyPress sites. So, it is most probably some configuration where our documentation has not been able to help.
