Tagged: buddypress, custom post type, plugin
Hi, I would like to let my users select a custom post type (I’d like to add some movies and videogames) to share in the activity wall like facebook does with “activities tabs”. I already check this post that: https://mridulgoswami.com/adding-custom-post-type-to-buddypress-activity-the-right-approach/ and it seems to be a good approach, but if a plugin would let you choose in the settings which custom post type would be used, would be great!
Its posible to develope something like that? I think its really usefull
Thanks a lot!

Great idea and it echoes to :
https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-create-forms-for-buddyblog-submissions/I’m on a same idea for some time with CPT-UI+ACF. And we share the same kind of sources. Despite mine recommand to put the “add_post_type_support” part into bp_custom.php (Brajesh ?)
The partial solution I used is to create a fork of buddyblog with my CPT instead of blog.
I works pretty well for tracking activity and in admin/user bar.Thank you both of you.
It is coming as part of BuddyBlog in near future(latest by 7th May).
Regards
Brajesh
