[Resolved] Several questions on Ajax registration plugin

    Hi Brajesh,

    I’ve heard a lot good things about your and Buddydev, so here i come 🙂

    Got few questions for you and the registration form :

    https://studentlounge.ie/ use WP +buddypress and their modal login/signup is REALLY sexy !

    How could i do the same :
    – Add social login on the modal
    – Have only USER + MAIL + PASSWORD field and not the traditionnal “NAME field” from buddypress ?
    – Add captacha on the modal too

    1. Adding Captcha: Please use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-captcha/

    2. Which social login plugin you are using, we can easily add a hoon to enable it.
    3. I am sorry about the User+Mail+Password, In BuddyPress, we will need at least the Name field, other fields can be avoided. If you don’t need the first name, this plugin may not be a good candidate, you will need something simple WordPress model login(If you plan to go through that route, we will issue refund).

    1/ Captchas :

    FIXED : I was using the wrong plugin. SO now i’ll use the one you recommend.

    2/ Social login :
    I’m not using any for now, because when i tried somes of them…users can only login with it, but there where no avatar grabbbed from the social profile to buddypress. And no descritpion / infos grabbed too.

    If you have one in mine wich works with buddypress and grab the profile picture and import it on the new account…i’m taking it !

    3/ Thanks a lot for bringing the refund option. I do appreciate it. But before going to a refund could you jsut take a minutes to explain me a bit how a site like https://studentlounge.ie/ wich use BUDDYPRESS (check the source code view-source:https://studentlounge.ie/) can do this awesome registration popup ?

    If this something you can do ? I can’t find anyone who can help me about this problem 🙁
    If they’re doing it, how can we can’t doing it ^^

    For social login, this plugin seems like the choice

    3. About the site, They have a custom registration form. BP Ajax Registration is a generic solution. It is possible to just ask for username, email, password and use normal WordPress registration process instead of BuddyPress.
    Even with BuddyPress, There are possible hacks(like Using the username as initial name) to make the form look like that.

    Please do know that it is not that we can not do it, It is not a generic solution(BuddyPress way) and that’s why you don’t see common implementation for this.
