    Hi,

I used to share posts on Facebook when I had my own blog and it was straightforward, I would copy the link of my post, paste it on Facebook and it would fetch the preview hwere I could change the image.

Now that I have buddypress and buddyblog installed, when I copy alink of the post to facebook it kind of creates a random post. Basically, the text is random and the image is the one I uploaded to Yoast seo as the facebook image to be posted if the post/page had no other images. I deactivated Yoast seo and the same thing happened.

Do you know any solution to this or at least who I should ask?

    Thanks in advance,

    irina

    Hi Kreatsya,
The Yoast SEO does not support BuddyPress and that is the prolem.

To fix it for BuddyBlog, disable the url structure requiring post to be shown on user profile. If you disable it, Post will be shown as normal blog post and Yoast SEO will work.

    Regards

Thank you so much for your help! Not only did it work, but now the posts look visually more pleasing than they used you 🙂
