    Installed on Multisite setup. NOT Network Activated. Only activated on main root site.
    MediaPress > Settings > General > Allowed extensions for photos = jpeg,jpg,gif,png

    Try to upload jpg or png but get this error message “This file type is not allowed. Allowed file types are:”

    Notice that Allowed file types are: NOTHING LISTED

    Try to upload photo using WP Media Upload and it works.

    Any advice how to get this plugin to work?
    Would appreciate it.

    Hi,
    My apologies for the inconvenience.

    is there any chance that you are on multisite and MediaPress was network activated? Though you have mentioned that it is only activated on root site, Can you please check that again for me. Also, try to save the settings at least once.

    Please let me know if it makes any difference?

    I did try all of that and it still didn’t work.

    DId some troubleshooting:
    Installed a fresh copy of WP and activated Multisite feature.
    Installed minimal plugins – Buddy Press, bbPress, MediaPress. Activated it on one site and got the same result.

    When using it on simple WP install (not Multisite) it works fine.

    Let me know if there’s anything else I can do. Fortunately I will not be using Multisite but if there’s anything you need to troubleshoot this for your own development let me know.
