OK, I understand. If I activate the Tags taxonomy then, when a user (in my case, a group moderator) creates a blog post, he can see existing tags and select the one or ones that apply to his post.

What I’d like is to allow each user to specify his own tags rather than being restricted to selecting from a list of tags that I, as the administrator, have created. I don’t think that BuddyBlog Pro supports this capability. Any plans to add it in the near future?

I purchased it today and am running tests. So far, it looks very good! If I have questions or requests, should I use this thread or open a new one?

Awesome! Thank you so much for the quick response. I will purchase BuddyBlog soon so that I can use the new functionality.

I require group functionality in BuddyBlog Pro before I purchase it. Is the functionality in Beta test?

In my BuddyBoss setup, there are four user levels:
    – Visitors (not registered – can view only)
    – Subscribers (registered users)
    – Content Providers
    – Administrator (me)

I need every Content Provider to be able to:
    – Create and manage a public group with an associated forum
    – Create and manage up to five private subgroups, each with an associated (private) forum
    – Manage a blog for the group (with only the Content Provider able to post to the blog)

The blog functionality is critical. Thanks!
