Hi there, just to clarify, by using the “show-only-users-of-opposite-genders-on-buddypress-site” filter, having the members-type-navs in members directory makes no sense.

The optimal solution however, would be if users could choose which member types should be displayed to them, already at registration level, but I do not see any solution for that.

    Thanks

Hi Brajesh, I moved back to my old theme GeneratePress, where the design of Recent Visitors are different than Members Directory and does not look tidy.

I appreciate if you would check the targeting in the free GeneratePress theme as you suggested, so I eventually can report back to the GP theme for a fix.

Hi there, I found out that if I marked all the locations, saved an unmarked them again, the settings are working without the code snippets.

Hi Brajesh, I noticed that the Template Pack changes to Legacy, when activating the Community Builder theme, as when I switched back to my old theme, the Template Pack was not switched back to Nouveau.

Does this mean, that Community Builder runs Legacy only? What happens if the Template Pack is changed to Nouveau while the theme is running?

calu on in reply to: Community Builder theme has different functions and hooks? #38360

Hi Brajesh, thanks for your reply. I’m using Nouveau, so maybe this is why I’m have these issues.

I’m using BP Block and Report users plugin, and before I had these buttons in the profile header, along with the Friends and Send message buttons. But now they are hided in the little question mark svg pop up. The report button is not there.

I marked this in the Block Member settings:
    Button locations: Profile Header

Are this the only profile header hook option to display these buttons?

In another thread, I asked about if the Pro version of Community Builder has the ability to place hooks in elements.
In my old theme I had some code snippets in these elements, but I guess I can’t use them anymore, or can I in some way add them directly in functions.php?

    Regards

Hi Brajesh, I changed to the community builder theme, nice work you have done with this theme. BP content looks great, and displays directories correctly right out of the box. So instead of struggling with my old theme I will change to the community builder theme.

I have a question to the pro version. In my present theme I have the option for creating hook and GB block elements, Are there any options with the pro theme to add this custom code anywhere?

As an example I use the hook elements to reposition different buttons like block and report on the profile page?

    Regards

Hi Brajesh, thanks for clarifying, I can see that now, I wasn’t aware that it was working this way.
