I have no idea what this means Ravi. I am using YOUR plugin called BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator and Group Tabs Pro.
WHen I create the tab I am linking to a standard page I have created inside WordPress. So I am staying within the same domain as the website. Therefore, I am thinking to use Dynamic URL field to create the link.
1. Is dynamic URL field the best choice to use?
2. Which shortcode parameters can I use in combination to the link to keep my user present on the profile page to display the link page below the profile page tabs?I am trying to achieve the same experience the user has when they select the MY BLOG tab I created with BuddyBlog Pro – the users stays present on their profile page seeing the My Blog load bleow the tabs level.
Hi Ravi,
This may be useful to a problem I’m having and been asking Brajesh about. I have two other post_types I have created for use with BuddyBlog application. Neither of these automatically includes the author profile avatar or profile link on the single post page.
Additionally this is not included on the archive page for these post_types as it is included in the standard post_type = POST
Also there is nowhere I can see to include a screenshot here to help explain.
I could not figure out how to send you the screen shots and explantions so I replied via email.
OK Ravi. Upon further reflection the result I am tryingn to achieve is to have a tab within the Group that presents a page of articles grid from a related site Blog category.
I am a membership customer of BuddyDev so I think this could be accomplished by using Buddydev Custome Tabs for groups and perhaps a short code embed on the tab page to show only articles from a specific category. What do you think?
