Hi Brajesh, I purchased the plugin this morning and just tested it on my staging site – it seems to work so far.
Could you please respond to my email I sent and and let me know if you can just give me the code to put into php code to apply to one membership level or if you have to do it yourself as customization. Thanks. - Daria Wilczynska on August 2, 2019 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Limit private messages for PaidMembership Users #24452
Brajesh, I was going to make a purchase but I just had a closer look at your plugin and not sure from the info whether it does exactly what I need.
I’m hoping to limit the amount of messages sent by the free membership level, not just first message but all message – let’s say 3 messages a week total – to the same or different person. I only see you have limit per minute and first message.
Is that possible to apply the limit weekly and for all messages? Or is that custom work? I am interested but I just want to know it’s doable.

Hi Brajesh, I am also looking to buy this plugin however I also want to apply it to only one PMPro membership level. As this post is from 2018 I want to check if you can do it now – custom development? Or should I speak to the devs at PMPro?

Thanks so much for the code, it does work.
However, I did some testing on my staging site and realized that there is something broken in the latest version of PMPro BP addon and that’s why it wasn’t hiding the member types. I reverted to previous version on my staging and the member types pages were hidden again. I let the team at PMPro know and they are looking into it.

Hi Brajesh. I spoke to someone at PMPro and she pointed me to this latest github – that it should work however when I uploaded the files to my FTP, I don’t see any difference. The member type pages are still visible to anyone who is not logged in and clicks on the menu subnav. I told her it’s not working for me but had not had a response in couple of days.
Do you mind taking a look at the code they sent? I kind of want to resolve it sooner than later since I had no idea my members were visible to outsiders. You can’t see the details but you can see a photo, location, how many friends etc.

Thanks Brajesh, I asked them about it and will let you know if I need your help.

I see, that’s too bad. Thanks Brajesh.

Thanks Brajesh. I’ll check this code out tonight and see what it does.
I still want to pursue the opt out button so please let me know how to discuss with you custom work. While a lot of people have expressed their
interest in meeting people from abroad, enough people also don’t so at the least I would love to get more info from you on what you can do and how complex is it.I keep getting more international members sign up using US & Canada membership and I don’t want to kick them out at this point, so I hope to figure this out sooner than later. Thanks.
