Than you for your excellent and considered advice.

I’m almost decided on woocommerce. I’m setting the sites up with it and I’ll make the final decision soon.

I appreciate the detail you went into. Thanks again.

Ok, I got it, it is that CSS. I overrode it in my theme. Sorry to trouble you.

    Hi Brajesh,

I got your message, upgraded using Buddydev Dashboard mulltisite activated). Tested it and it works great!

When clicking the email activation for the account I get the message that the avatar is uploaded, that’s a nice touch.

Really slick! Well done, amazing support as always.

    Thanks,
    Mike

No problem, thank you for testing it.

My site won’t go live for a while so there’s no pressure.

    Brajesh,

    I have legacy template enabled.

I will re-check. There could be a conflict with Avada theme or it could be because I was using Microsoft Edge (I usually work on my site in Chrome and test in Edge, Firefox or Opera, to keep the logins conveniently separate).

I’ll let you know how the tests go.

    Many thanks,
    Mike

PS also on my existing system I can apply a member type for a limited time. For example, when a new member signs up they are assigned to “New Member” and they get a new member badge for two months, so that everyone knows they are new and might need help. I have over 10,000 members so features like that are important to our membership. By using member types with badges I’m able to illustrate many things about the member quickly such as their paid membership level or how long they have been a member (they get a new badge every year).
