Hi,
Were you able to see any error messages on your end?
I’ve run WP-Optimize and also performed a “check table” on all database tables, and everything appears to be OK. Is there any specific table I should inspect more closely?
Also, is it possible to test Moderation Tools with BuddyPress deactivated?
As I mentioned earlier, we’re seeing a strange issue when trying to delete a term in wp-admin — it results in an “unexpected error.” That problem disappears as soon as BuddyPress is deactivated.
Since BuddyPress behaves a bit oddly in that situation, I’m wondering if the two issues could be related.

I’m not sure if this is related, but we’re also experiencing an issue with BuddyPress.
When attempting to delete a term in wp-admin, we get a similar error message. We’ve discovered that the issue disappears when BuddyPress is deactivated.
This started occurring after we accumulated a large number of terms in a custom taxonomy called “Series”, which is used by the PublishPress Series plugin. At the moment, we have 440+ terms in that taxonomy, and the number is steadily increasing.
I haven’t yet tested reporting an item with Moderation Tools while BuddyPress is deactivated to see if there is a connection.

Sure, no problems.

If a normal user (participant or contributer) tries to report another user, the user get this error. You can try for example to report “Test funktionstest” user. If you need you can “sudo” to this user and test as a user with normal privs.
I have now created a post on the frontpage which you can report.

That would be very nice. Where can I send. The login information? As a private reply here?
Additionally, when attempting to report a post, we receive the following message:
“Can not be reported.”
There is something else that confuses me. When I post an anonymous reply, the user’s real name is still visible in notifications. On the plugin page it says
If you have bbPress to BuddyPress group forums integration enabled, it won’t support recording of anonymous activity of the anonymous forum topics/replies. The activity will show the actual user’s detail.
As far as I understand, we do not have bbPress to BuddyPress group forums integration enabled. If you mean the checkbox at the bottom of the bbPress settings page (just above the Akismet integration setting), that option is not enabled on our site. Group forums should therefore not be active. I cannot find any other related setting.
Still, the real username of the anonymous poster appears in notifications (for example, to the topic starter).
Am I misunderstanding something here? We do not want to disable all forum activity recording.
We are still not sure about whether we should offer anonymous posting to our users. However, if we do, at the very least bbPress Keymasters need to be able to see who the actual author is. It would be enough if only Keymasters (not regular bbPress moderators) could see the real username.

Wow, thanks! It seems to work just fine! 🙂
